Arianna Gold got her start in the adult industry as an exotic dancer before transitioning to massage. Since then, she's become one of Australia's most popular independent erotic masseuses. She dropped by to talk about how underrated massage is, her podcast and why you should take her for dinner.
What provoked the transition from dancing to massage?
My journey into erotic massage started when I relocated back to Sydney. I’d been dancing in Melbourne – which is Stripper Mecca – but I needed a break. I took a detox from it all and realised that the club atmosphere isn’t for me anymore. I thought working normal hours and one-on-one intimacy would suit my personality better. I was right. I decided that if I was going to do it, I was going to be the best. I’m a classic high achiever. So I decided to take a professional massage course.
Set the scene for what it's like to spend time with Arianna Gold...
Let’s assume you’re at my front door. I will greet you in something lacy and sexy before asking you to have a shower. I have Sheridan towels and all-natural liquid soap plus other toiletries to ensure you feel groomed and squeaky clean. Afterwards, I’ll give a short but sexy striptease to get the… ahem…blood pumping to all the right areas. Once I have nothing left to take off but my heels, I will ask you to lay face down on my comfortable massage table. I have my signature water dispersible massage oil mix (hemp oil with a touch of essential oils) at the ready. It’s not quite a therapeutic massage but you’ll definitely feel my training, interspersed with body slides, elbows and sensual strokes as time goes on. My touch will progress from therapeutic to erotic, always subtly and naturally with a concentration on the lovely groin area to get you nice and aroused before I turn you over. I must admit, I do get a little distracted with a hard man in front of me so it’s mostly erotic from this point on! Imagine lots of skin to skin contact, gliding into various positions so you get the best views of every inch of my body. Yes, I’m happy to be touched! It’s not very erotic sliding all over a dead corpse so I expect some reciprocal touching! It all crescendos into a lovely relaxed but intense orgasm for you. Depending on the length of the booking, some head, foot or other massaging of other body bits may continue, or chats. It’s really dependent on what you want as some men like different things and come to me for different elements of my personality. At the end of the session, you’ll have a shower and hopefully, book in for your next session. Then it’s a kiss on the cheek, pat on the bum and for some, an espresso and the relaxed man is on his way, back into the busy world.
What do you enjoy about giving erotic massages?
I enjoy the one-on-one intimacy of a massage as well as the feeling of changing another human for the better. Whatever your personal philosophy on relationships (monogamy, polyamory, etc), I’m sure we can all agree that relaxing orgasms in a non-judgemental atmosphere with clear boundaries is a recipe for simply feeling better. Life is busy, tough and lonely at times, so the fact that I can relieve that pain for someone for an hour or so is my heart-gasm. Yes, I just made that word up! I appreciate the positive effects that massage has on the central nervous system and nearly all conditions can be improved by turning on the parasympathetic nervous system and a little self-care. I’m naturally a giver so it makes sense for me.
Would you say erotic massage is underrated?
Underrated is definitely my opinion but I understand that not everyone is a massage person. Some men prefer bookings that are more carnal and that’s okay! In some cases, I’m the first massage of any kind that a man has experienced and I think that’s sad! I love being massaged and I can’t live without a massage at least once a week. Besides the erotic element, it’s the ultimate stress reliever. Stress causes chronic disease, which means I’m actually good for your health! I should be covered by private health insurance and I hope I live long enough to see that happen! Touch is important for the health of our body and soul – many studies have proven this. It improves symptoms of depression, anxiety and any impulse control conditions. Biologically, humans are meant to live in communities where they are touched daily and current society just isn’t like this anymore. Yeah, biology people. Science is cool!
Tell us about your dinner date service.
Yes! This was born out of sheer envy of full-service sex workers that get paid to eat! They say “if you build it, they will come” so I started to offer it, and it’s become really popular. I really enjoy fine dining and chatting with interesting and successful men.
What made you decide to create a podcast?
I decided to create a podcast because I wanted to create more valuable content. There’s only so much content I can create without showing my face, so a video blog was out of the question and written blogs are old news. A podcast allows me to invite listeners into my world to learn about sex work. Stigma, in my opinion, is about a lack of information. I believe in educating people about things they may not know about so they can make an informed decision. Being judgemental about others lives is a waste of time, as is having a strong opinion about something you know nothing about! I also wanted to give recognition to all of the amazing people that enrich my life.
