Feels Botanical Is Reinventing The Way We Think About Booze
This Australian Spirit Is Doing Things Differently... And We Like It.
Australian wine producers may have been doing wonderful things with grapes over the years, but Feels Botanical is a little more inventive. And the results are truly extraordinary.
Since its launch in 2019 the Aussie company has been helping us realise that the ‘responsible lifestyle’ shouldn’t be limited to just food, clothing and skin creams. The way we choose and consume our plonk is pretty important too!
Feels Botanical has produced an impressive selection of spirits that are Australian made (and owned), free from preservatives; vegan-friendly, gluten-free.
Now that all of those boxes are ticked, I hear you wondering if they actually taste any good. Well, the answer is a resounding yes! The Grape over Grain policy has led the company to produce four standout bottles that use the famous fruit along with a variety of other plants to stimulate your tastebuds.
First up is one of its more popular go-to’s, Bask. Distilled from Australian grapes, with a touch of Quandong, Kakadu Plum and Hemp, it’s ideal over a bit of ice mixed with Mediterranean tonic and has a silky smooth texture. This aperitif also landed Feels Botanical the bronze medal at the 2021 International Spirit and Wine competition. High praise indeed.
Vivify is another popular choice, for those who like the sweetness of coconut coupled with a touch of ginger. Then there is Rouse, which contains the wonderfully named ‘Horny Goat Weed’, and Revel, which has hints of Ginseng, Coffee and Illawarra Plum.
What Feels Botanical has managed to do with this selection is reinvent the way we think about and consider alcohol, making it more of an enjoyable discovery and less about what you already know.
