A woman is reportedly recovering after she ‘overdid it’ at a sex festival in the UK last week.
The 52-year-old woman was airlifted out of the Swingfields Festival in Worcestershire after she had issues breathing.
Swingfields Festival – Europe’s biggest ‘secret’ sex festival – takes place over three days and attracts around 700 frisky revellers.
According to witnesses, the woman fell ill after “overdoing it during group activities”, which included taking part in tug-of-war and jelly wrestling.
The woman was given emergency treatment, much to the shock of the 700 swingers who were present.
“But it didn’t take too long for the fun and games to resume,” a source said.
“She’s now had a stent fitted in one of her blocked arteries and is making a recovery.”
Nothing sets the mood like a four poster bed in a field
Organiser Deb Harrison said the festival is no different to Glastonbury or a hotel, where people meet and mingle and have sex. She said: “It is not what people think it is. We have moved on from keys in a bowl. It’s about socialising. It’s about like-minded people getting together.”
Attendees were welcome to come and pitch a tent, stay in camper vans or could pay the equivalent of AU$745 for a three-day pass to the event which included a luxury bell tent with two beds, heating and solar powered lighting.
